Western Carolina University – Assistant professor in College of Engineering and Technology teaches Lean Six Sigma series to students in Palestine

Basel Alsayyed Ahmad, assistant professor in Western Carolina University’s University
of Engineering and Know-how, not too long ago taught a collection of courses on Lean 6 Sigma
to college students in Palestine.

The learners attained a Lean Six Sigma Environmentally friendly Belt certification. The class was administered
as a result of WCU’s Academic Outreach.

“I am originally from Palestine and from the same city as the pupils, Dura,” Ahmad
said. “I had 5 learners on the other aspect of the environment in which I’m from.”

Ahmad taught Lean Six Sigma, a method improvement approach, to a team of experts
hoping to hone their techniques. “Lean Six Sigma is a approach for continuously improving

to build this channel for Western,” he stated.
